Refund and Returns Policy

Happy Valley does not issue refunds or exchanges for items purchased through third-party retailers.

Refunds, exchanges, or replacements are only applicable for items purchased directly from happyvalley.co.nz where products are damaged, faulty, or incorrect items have been sent. Requests must be made within 14 days from the date of purchase. Return shipping charges will not apply in these cases.

Happy Valley offers a 14-day change-of-mind returns policy for New Zealand orders only. Items must be unopened and in their original condition. Refunds will cover the full price of the item, excluding shipping costs.

Due to international shipping constraints, we cannot offer change-of-mind returns for international orders. International customers are advised to choose products carefully before purchasing.

If your order is damaged, faulty, or the incorrect item was sent, kindly reach out to our Customer Care Team for assistance. Orders made through third-party sites will require customers to contact those respective companies for tracking details and return policies.

Pricing

All prices on happyvalley.co.nz are displayed in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless stated otherwise. Shopify enables localized display of prices in various currencies. For international customers, GST or other taxes do not apply on the product price; however, your local customs import taxes or duties may still apply.

International orders may incur customs duties or taxes upon arrival in the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the purchaser. Refunds will not be granted for orders returned due to unpaid duties or taxes. Please check with your local customs agency for applicable charges prior to placing your order.

Payment Providers

• Afterpay is available for New Zealand customers and applicable for one-off purchases only, excluding subscriptions.

Discount Codes

Discount codes are subject to the following conditions:

• Discount codes are not valid in combination with sale items on happyvalley.co.nz.
• Discount codes can only be used for one-off purchases and are not applicable to Subscribe & Save orders.

Promotional Giveaways

At Happy Valley, we love rewarding our customers — but as a small family business, we also need to ensure our promotions are fair and sustainable for everyone.

One Free Gift Per Customer or Household
Promotional gifts are limited to one per customer, household, or order during a promotional period.

Applies In-Store and Online
We apply the same limits across all channels. Online orders with the same name, shipping address, billing details, or IP address may be identified as a single household.

No Split Transactions for Additional Gifts
We do not allow split payments or separate transactions for the purpose of redeeming additional free gifts.

Staff Discretion Applies
Our staff are trained to uphold this policy and may, at their discretion, decline additional gifts if they feel the promotion is being misused.

Respecting Our Team
We kindly ask that customers treat our team with the same courtesy and respect we extend to you. Our staff have the right to uphold store policies without pressure or intimidation.

Happy Valley Honey “Share & Win a Year of Free Manuka” Giveaway – Terms & Conditions

Promotion Period:
The giveaway opens on 18 November 2025 and closes at 11:59 PM NZT on 30 November 2025. Entries received after this time will not be eligible.

Eligibility:

1. This giveaway is open to all those who redeemed a free jar of UMF Manuka 10+ honey.
2. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Happy Valley Honey and associated agencies are not eligible to enter.

How to Enter:

1. Participants must have received a free Manuka honey sample from Happy Valley Honey.
2. To enter, participants must share a photo/ video. story or reel of their free Manuka honey on Instagram or Facebook.
3. Participants must tag @happyvalleyhoney in the post.
4. Participants can use the hashtag #ManukaVIP and #HappyValleyManuka
5. All eligible posts must be made before 30 November 2025.

Prize:

1. One (1) winner will receive 12 months of UMF 10+ Manuka Honey, delivered in a single shipment.
2. The prize consists of fifteen (15) x 500g jars, valued at approximately $990 NZD.
3. Prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

Winner Selection:

1. The winner will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries on 1 December 2025 at 2 PM NZT.
2. The winner will be notified via the social media account used to enter and via email if contact details are available.
3. If the winner does not respond within 7 days, Happy Valley Honey reserves the right to redraw the prize.

Delivery of Prize:

1. The prize will be shipped to the address provided by the winner.
2. Happy Valley Honey is not responsible for lost, damaged, or delayed deliveries once the prize has been dispatched.

General Conditions:

1. By entering, participants agree to these Terms & Conditions and to the decisions of Happy Valley Honey, which are final and binding.
2. Happy Valley Honey reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is inappropriate, offensive, or does not comply with the entry requirements.

Share your cart from the Happy Valley Honey Black Friday Sale on social media and you could win your cart value back to spend in the sale! Cart values up to $800 NZD (full RRP / pre-Black Friday sale value). Shipping to your chosen address is limited to $200 NZD.
