The taste was what I expected but the 'Best Before' date was 29.08.2021 this year. I have to enjoy this honey within five months. This is not that happy feeling. Too short. Which kind of honey is this product? Somewhat drippy. But the taste was good. Why this product is in the glass jar? not in the PET jar? Normally, as I know, the honey BB is 5 years. Could you please let me know why this Propolis Honey has only 3 years 'Best Before'? How many percentages of Propolis in this product? 20%? or 30%? I am really interested in this product and want to know more. Thanks
Hi Steve, thanks for your questions! Correct, as you said honey products normally have a longer Best Before date (not Expiry), but when it comes to Propolis we only have a 3 year Best Before date. That is because, in order to ensure all the goodie’s and natural properties are as strong as they should be, we recommend a shorter Best Before date. That way we can ensure the bioflavonoids are still active. The product is totally consumable past its Best Before date, as the honey actually never expires, but in order to get the full benefits, we suggest you consume before this date. We pack in both glass and PET as each consumer has different reasons for buying each option. As for percentages, there is around 25% propolis tincture in the jar, so its fairly potent in terms of its propolis content. Hope this answered some of your questions. - Kate
